Join the Ride for Hurricane Recovery This Weekend at Cardio-Tone

Far too many of us know what it's like to rebuild after a natural disaster, whether it's an earthquake, a tornado, a mudslide, or a hurricane. Right now, there are millions of people coping with the all-too-real reminder that storms and floods are no joke, courtesy of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

San Francisco businesses have been stepping up to help in the relief efforts. Freda Salvador sent shoes and clothes to Houston after Harvey. SoulCycle and Barry's hosted charity classes for relief efforts. Hero Shop donated a portion of its sales to recovery efforts.

This weekend, Rockyt and Cardio-Tone are joining in with a charity ride on Saturday, September 16 at 1 pm. The event is happening at Cardio-Tone's Noe Valley location (1747 Church Street). Studio manager Jenn Philpot and Rockyt founder Robyn Cain will be team-teaching a special one-hour fundraiser class. There will be drinks and snacks after the class as well.

Funds raised at the event will be divided between Baker Ripley (a Houston charity assisting with recovery) and Americares. Every dollar raised from the ride will go to charity. The minimum donation to book a bike is $25. Email jenn@cardio-tone.com to reserve your space and for more details.

Even if you can't make it for the ride on Saturday, the studio is selling raffle tickets in conjunction with the event for $5 each or 5 for $20. Raffle items include free classes at Cardio-Tone and products and services donated by Bernie's Coffee, Chocolate Covered, NoVY, Lululemon, Real Old Paper, Urban Remedy, Pressed Juicery and more. Winners will be selected on Saturday, but you don't have to be present to win.

Hope to see you there!
