San Francisco's Cutest Pop-Up Opens in Embarcadero Center on Friday

Our city has hosted some pretty damn great pop-ups this year. The Real Real. Sweatbar. Buru. But none of those can compare to the level of squee the San Francisco Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SF SPCA) has in store with its February animal adoption pop-up.

The space will be home to a Cat Cafe and weekly Yappy Hours, so there will be plenty of chances to get your snuggle fix. Special events include a Year of the Dog kickoff party on Thursday, February 1, a pet portrait painting night on Tuesday, February 13, an emBARKadero Party on Thursday, February 15, and cat yoga. (Dates and times for yoga will be announced soon.) If you like to snuggle creatures with your co-workers, the SPCA is offering corporate cuddle experiences, too.

The festivities run February 2 through February 28 at One Embarcadero, and the space will be open from 11 am until 7 pm daily. (Heads up: the pop-up will be closed on February 19 for President's Day.) For more information, visit the SF SPCA's pop-up page
