Found: A Summer Lipstick That Works for Every Skin Tone
There are a few, cult-favorite lipsticks that seem to work for everyone. Clinique's Black Honey (a sheer, deep burguncy), MAC's Ruby Woo (a bold red), and Lipstick Queen's Frog Prince (a green that turns to rose) come to mind. Now, you can add Lipstick Queen's Mornin' Sunshine ($24) to that list.
Following its fairytale success with Frog Prince, Lipstick Queen expanded its transformer color line with Hello Sailor, a blueberry shade that goes on with a blackberry stain hue. Mornin' Sunshine is its latest summer offering: a bright yellow that wears more like a coral or watermelon. Like the other transformers, the color looks a slightly different—and totally perfect—on each person.
Because Lipstick Queen's formula is light and hydrating, I love using the transformers shades as both a lip color and a cheek color. (The right lipstick makes for a seriously good cream blush.) Looking for color that can do double-duty in your bag this summer? Mornin' Sunshine is it. And you can get yours now at SpaceNK (2000 Fillmore Street).
