You've Tried Yoga in a Nightclub and a Church: Why Not a Ballpark?

San Franciscans loves unusual yoga locations like nightclubs and Grace Cathedral, but there's nothing saying that all the best atypical yoga spots have to be indoors. Case-in-point: the Giants are hosting their 6th Annual Yoga Day on Sunday, September 3, at AT&T Park.

Local yoga celebrity—yogalebrity?—Janet Stone will be leading a post-game Vinyasa flow on the field after the Giants take on the St. Louis Cardinals Sunday afternoon. Class will start 30 minutes following the final out of the game, and DJ Drez will be providing sweet beats to accompany your chaturangas and downward dogs.

Special Event ticket packages for Sunday include a ticket to the game at 1:05 pm, admission to the private post-game on-field yoga session and a limited-edition Giants yoga block. (Pick up the block in View Reserve 334 through the 5th inning or post-game during the yoga session.) Tickets range between $27 and $187. Buy tickets here.

There may be debate about whether or not it's okay to wear yoga pants to a game, but this is your chance to unapologetically rock your Lulus while eating garlic fries at the ballpark. If that's not cause for celebration, I don't know what is.
