San Francisco is one of 20 cities where the award-winning documentary RiverBlue is set to premiere today, and you can be one of the first folks to see it.

The film follows international river conservationist Mark Angelo across the globe to expose one of the world’s most pollutive industries, fashion. Spoiler alert: all those super-cheap fast fashion pieces are kinda terrible for the environment. (Big oops.) Narrated by forever-in-our-heart 90210 alum Jason Priestley, the documentary examines the destruction of our rivers, its effect on humanity, and the solutions that inspire hope for a sustainable future.

The San Francisco premiere at the Roxie (3117 16th Street) starts at 3:30 pm on Sunday, November 19, and will be followed by a Q&A with industry experts. (Instead of wringing your hands as saying, "Gosh, this is awful, but what can we do," you can walk away with actionable ways to shop smarter.) After the Q&A, continue the conversation over cocktails at ABV with the Bay Area’s industry insiders.

You can score eco-friendly tickets on Eventbrite for $12. And maybe don't print those? Because, yeah, trees...
