Mexico City is one of the hottest destinations on the map right now, but—if your schedule doesn't permit a trip to our southern neighbor's capitol—you can let Mexico City come to you this week.

Stylist Caroline Rooney Serrano has teamed up with Baana in North Beach for a five-day Made In: Mexico pop-up shop from July 25–29. The event is the first in a series of Baana pop-ups that will focus on design and creative communities in different regions of the world. Swing by to shop designs from Lorena Saravia, Les Filles du Nord, Savage Studio, Marina Silva, and Serrano's own Padrísimo.

If you follow Serrano on Instagram, you know she spends a lot of time visiting family in Mexico. All those trips gave her plenty of time to discover the latest design talent in the country. With the pop-up at Baana, she's bringing years of style scouting knowledge right here to San Francisco.

For first dibs on everything at Made In: Mexico, purchase a ticket to the opening dinner with Gabriela Camara's CALA. (The $125 includes early access to the pop-up, an incredible dinner, and drinks.) There will be additional flavorful shopportunities Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, when you'll find options like tequila tasting and tacos. Find the full schedule here.

If you can't make it to the opening party, you can still shop 11am—7pm Thursday, July 26-Saturday, July 28, and 11am—3pm on Sunday, July 29.  Baana is located at 1256 Mason Street, near the cable car line. And when your friends fall in love with your new finds? You can pretend you did all the hard work of finding Mexico City's up-and-coming designers.
