Bryr Is Hosting a Major Sample Sale in San Francisco
Bryr is unloading its back-clog (pun most certainly intended) of shoes on Saturday, August 19 with a massive sample sale in the Dogpatch. The sale starts at 11 am and ends at 3 pm.
The local clog-maker will be offering styles at 20–70 percent discounts for one day only at a new location, 2419 3rd Street. (That's just down the street from the regular Bryr studio.) And, taking a cue from the recent Baggu and Freda Salvador sales, the shoemaker has plenty of surprises up its sleeve. Those include way more clogs than last year, a lounge by Shelter Co, and refreshments from Neighbor Bakehouse, Clementine Provence, Fort Point Beer Co and Idell Family Vineyards.
Pricing for the sale varies according to the item class. Perfect clogs from inventory will be 20 percent off, shop samples are 30 percent off, seconds and older samples are 40 percent off, and irregular samples are 60 percent off. You can also score gently-worn clogs for 70 percent off. All proceeds from the worn clog sales will go to Compass Family Services, an organization that helps place homeless and at-risk families stable housing. (You can donate gently used BRYR clogs by dropping them off at the studio, 2331 3rd Street, before August 19.)
We all know that the hoarding sitch can get a little bonkers at sample sales, so Bryr is trying to cap the greed by placing a three-pairs-per-person limit on shopping until 2 pm. After 2 pm, all bets are off and you can buy everything.
Wanna be that person who wears all locally-made clogs, all the time? Then mark your calendar for August 19.
