Expecting mothers often have questions about how they should adapt their workouts, and Avant-Barre (592 3rd Street) is ready with answers. On Sunday, March 26, the uber-popular barre studio is hosting a prenatal class and pregnancy workshop for all of you with lil' buns in the oven.

Lex, AB's own fitness doula, will lead the workshop, along with Kaitlyn Peake, a birth and postpartum doula and certified herbalist who is currently expecting her first child. The 2-hour event starts at 12:30 pm with a 30-minute, prenatal-focused workout, followed by time for expecting mothers to connect with each other and share their feelings about giving birth. One lucky mama will walk away with a complimentary 60 minute massage with one of the prenatal specialists at Psoas Massage + Bodywork, while all participants will receive $10 off a massage.

Interested? The event costs $49 and you can sign up here. For additional info, ping the crew at Avant-Barre at info@avant-barre.com.
